Peace

It’s been a lovely weekend - on Saturday we planted tulips, daffodils, anemones and muscari bulbs into about ten pots of various sizes.  There is something magical about bulbs, you pot them up at this time of year and then you almost forget about them before - hey presto they arrive in all their glory!

I found myself wondering where I will be on my journey when they bloom and replied “who cares?” because it really doesn’t matter, I am surrounded by love and supported by some amazing friends regardless.

We also had lunch with the lovely Sandra in Martinborough and then us girls went shopping in Greytown.  If men want to know why we shop together it’s like what you do when you paint a fence with a mate. Its all about the little conversations in between the oohs and aahhs of "look at that".  Sandra is such a kindred spirit and I love each moment I get with her.  Gabe was beyond excited to see her, it took him a good twenty minutes to calm down long enough for a proper cuddle.  My dog chooses really good people to adore.

Anyway, I guess what I am trying to say is that I am now well behind the horrible fortnight spent in bed and I am feeling so very hopeful about the future.

May this week bring you joy in some small way.
